I am a licensed massage therapist, bodyworker, and energyworker with strong intuition, and highly skilled, sensitive hands. My sessions incorporate a powerful fusion and integration of massage, bodywork, energywork, conscious breathwork, and yoga, grounded in 27 years of experience. My clients give me consistently positive feedback on my sessions, and tell me that my sessions are restorative, powerful, relaxing, soothing, and very nurturing.

Why did I choose the name Golden Hands? Years ago, my mom shared with me that when she was growing up, her father (and my dear Grandpa) Julius would comment whenever he noticed someone that had a special way about them, when everything they touched seemed to turn to gold. He would say to her that that person had Goldene Hendt--Golden Hands. Then she told me that I had "Goldene Hendt", which touched me deeply. This was further confirmed a few years later when I gave a massage to a very special woman visiting the states from Argentina. Even though she spoke very little English, it was clear to me that she loved her massage session. Her exact words were: "Tu tienes manos de oro" (Hands of Gold). When I heard her say this, I got goosebumps. She confirmed the natural gift of touch and the tactile sensitivity I was born with, and I owned it and the name Golden Hands Massage Therapy was born!

I offer a variety of massage and relaxation services: individual massage and bodywork sessions, individual and Valentine's couples massage housecalls, Valentine's massage instructional sessions for couples, chair massage at your home or office, and guided relaxation CD's. I listen to my clients and work collaboratively with each one to respond to his or her needs rather than doing a formulaic massage. I tune into what is going on and direct my hands, focus and energy on helping people to release their stress and to finding that place of calm and quiet within, the place where true healing can occur. I take great pride in my work, and I am inspired by the way massage and healing touch benefits people and also animals.

I am dedicated to assisting people to create more peace and wellness in their lives. Touch, breath, and energy are powerful mediums that promote healing, relaxation, and comfort in the times that we are living in...and for all times. I also believe that, whether we are born with it or not, touch is an instrument and ability that we all can cultivate. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my innate gift and love of healing touch with others, and in helping people to get in touch with the best inside themselves.
